With a project to optimize reports and memos, 10h11 analyzed the internal communication practices of Bordeaux Métropole. Our aim was to identify how the use of data could improve these processes, by providing a detailed note, slide presentation, and comprehensive report.

The need

Bordeaux Métropole, a major player in the management of the Bordeaux metropolis, had identified an opportunity to improve its internal communication processes. Memos and reports, while essential for internal functioning, were considered to be subject to improvement in terms of clarity, effectiveness and relevance. The challenge was therefore to understand how data could be integrated in an innovative and relevant way into these processes. Bordeaux Métropole wanted to explore the opportunities offered by the exploitation of data to improve the quality, efficiency and relevance of its internal communications.

The solution

In response to this need, the 10h11 team undertook an in-depth analysis of existing communication processes within the Metropolis. We conducted extensive research, identifying opportunities for improvement and how data could be used to make those improvements. We produced a detailed note summarizing our findings, accompanied by a slide presentation to facilitate the communication of results to stakeholders. Finally, a comprehensive account of our approach was written, serving as a reference to document our approach and the conclusions drawn from our work.

The results

The work of 10h11 made it possible to lay the foundations for a new approach to internal communication within Bordeaux Métropole, integrating the use of data. The recommendations provided were designed to provide real added value and to promote a significant improvement in internal communication practices. In addition, the experience gained during this project allowed 10:11 to better understand the issues and challenges associated with integrating data into internal communication processes, thus strengthening our ability to offer effective and relevant solutions in this area.
