A technological platform to streamline the workflow of operational teams
The project in detail
Suez field teams in the Bordeaux metropolitan area were faced with a problem of reliability of data concerning water valves. Their solution? An interactive technological platform, created in collaboration with 10h11. It improves workflow and data quality, and allows employees to indicate the status of a water valve during an intervention.
The need
Suez found that the data relating to water valves in the Bordeaux metropolitan area was not reliable enough. It was difficult to know at a specific point in time if a water valve was open, closed, or faulty. They needed a solution that would gather accurate and up-to-date information while facilitating the workflow of their teams in the field.
The solution
In collaboration with Suez, we have created a technological platform that takes the form of an interactive map, coupled with an easy-to-use form that can be accessed from a tablet. In the field, each operational employee can, during an intervention, easily declare the condition of the water valve on which he is working. This information, combined with geolocation data, is then used to improve the quality of Suez's data.
The results
Our platform has made it possible to streamline the overall workflow of Suez teams and to improve data quality. Now, when an employee performs an intervention, they can easily indicate the status of the water valve they are working on, which helps to consolidate the overall quality of Suez's data. The result is a significant improvement in operational efficiency and data quality.
