The project in detail
For La Poste, the objective is to become a data-oriented company by 2030. In order to achieve this ambition, La Poste called on 10h11 to develop and maintain animated data dashboards, which continuously present information from various entities of the group.
The need
La Poste, with more than 245,000 employees, around 15% of whom work outside France, had the ambition to Becoming a Data-Driven Company by 2030. This meant that the company wanted to fully exploit the power of data to inform decision-making at all levels of the organization.
This involved setting up data display tools (datawalls) for present relevant information on an ongoing basis from the various entities of the group to its employees. These tools had to be user-friendly and easy to use, so that all employees can access and understand them.
The solution
The 10h11 team was tasked with achieving this ambition for La Poste. We advised the company on the choice of visuals to use based on the available data, which made it possible to maximizing the impact and understanding of this information. We also helped with data collection and industrialization, which involved standardization and consolidation of data from multiple sources to ensure their reliability and consistency. Finally, we developed computer dashboards for displaying data and ensured the continuous maintenance of their operation.
The results
The implementation of this solution has helped La Poste take a giant step towards achieving its goal of becoming a data-driven company by 2030.
The use of datawalls has improved transparency and understanding of company operations among employees, which helped with decision making and strategic alignment. In addition, the improvement of data quality through standardization and consolidation has allowed to ensure the reliability of the information used for decision making. Overall, our work with La Poste has strengthened the data culture within the company, which has a positive impact on operational efficiency and the overall strategy of the company.
